How Does Flash & Go Work?

Silk’n Flash & Go Compact

Silk’n Flash & Go offers permanent hair removal with clinically proven effectiveness. Silk’n does not use a laser. It uses IPL technology (Intense Pulsed Light) via an ultra high intensity lamp. See IPL vs Laser

IPL and lasers remove hair with short bursts of high intensity energy that penetrate the skin. Melanin in the hair follicle absorb the light energy as heat which kills the follicle. Note: More than one application is required for permanent hair removal .

Hair Removal at home”

NOTE: If You Have Dark Skin
Because the light energy produced by a laser is different than that produced by an IPL, laser devices are not recommended for darker skin tones. If you have dark skin, the Silk’n Flash & Go Express will work best for you as IPL light better penetrates darker skin.

Flash & Go Instructions

First, shave the application area to allow maximum penetration of light pulses.

Next, hold the unit directly on your skin and press activation button. You will see a quick flash of light and that’s all there is to it! Simply move on to the next area and repeat. A typical application time for both legs is about 15 to 20 minutes.

When hair starts to grow back, it will be noticeably finer and grow slower than before treatment. After the hair is long enough to shave, repeat treatment process.

After 3 to 4 applications, the hair eventually stops growing back leaving you with beautifully smooth skin. In some cases, after a few months, you may notice very fine hair start to grow. One quick application will stop the hair growth in its tracks.
